On the outskirts of Kochendorf and directly on the Kocher cycle path is the former northern station of the Lower Kocher Valley Railway, which has now been converted into a kiosk and restaurant.
The food and drink is decent and you can sit fairly comfortably in the small beer garden. It is quite suitable as a stopover and a quick place to have a drink or a snack, even if there is a busy road right next door.
Overall, it is definitely recommended.

Cycling

As in many other places, an old, disused train station was transformed into a restaurant with a beer garden. What distinguishes this here are the historic railroad cars. A really nice idea and nicely prepared. Unfortunately, the busy main street runs right next to the beer garden, which means that relaxed sitting in the beer garden is not always possible. Still the right destination for a short rest on the tour.

Mountain biking

Is well on the way to the Kochertal. Since you can relax a bit and refresh yourself. Although it is on the street, but still it can be here to drink something.
The North Station is part of the former Kochertalbahn, the route was largely built to the bike path, exemplary!
