A nice place to stop off. Secluded from main roads, with water playground for children and delicious snacks at fair prices. Wonderful hiking and biking trails around it.

Here you can almost always come in (observe rest days).
The food is more than good, the hosts very nice people and the staff always friendly.

The Tauritzmühle is and has always been an "insider tip". Only to be recommended, even if it is a little "different" now in Corona times.

Great location in the countryside. Despite the fully booked house, it was easy to get a beer, coffee, etc. Cake over the fence.

Class excursion restaurant with a beautiful beer garden. There are delicious snacks and Franconian roasts with dumplings and several draft beers!!

Tauritzmühle is part of the town of Speichersdorf and lies between the towns of Göppmannsbühl and Tressau. It mainly consists of a former mill, a hiking hut with an annex and a rock cellar.

A visit to the Tauritzmühle is always worthwhile. A great beer garden, but also the premises inside are great. You are greeted warmly and the service is good. Everyone will find something to eat, whether young or old. My personal favorite is simply the currywurst.
