The smaller path on this slag heap does indeed give a bit of a mountain feeling and offers very nice views, it is also less busy than the other one where you can pedal. A calf biter here and there. At the top you can sometimes be a bit careful on the steepest parts, certainly with the loose stones - and even more so if you want to go a bit higher.
