This church dates back to 1841.
It is used by the Wadden Congregation, a Reformed Church (PKN).
This church is still fairly "new." The Eierlandse polder dried up in 1835, making way for the village of De Cocksdorp. Four years later, construction began on this Reformed church. While other churches on the island have a long history, this church in De Cocksdorp is one of the youngest on Texel.
