The Fricolla pass is a natural threshold between the Brenve and Alleigne valleys. Here, the mountain reveals itself in its most authentic and silent, almost mystical form.
There are no refuges or farm roads: only ancient mountain pastures, vast solitudes, and open spaces where beauty springs from a wild and secluded nature. Among scree slopes and flowering meadows, the air is filled with the scent of rhododendrons, while the climate can suddenly change, with the strength typical of the most hidden mountains.
