The entrance fee is just under €30 and has nothing to do with the entrance fee to the North Cape outdoor area. In return, you get access to a movie (15 minutes) every 30 minutes during peak times, a light show and the grottos, which contain a lovely exhibition on the history of the North Cape, the chapel and the viewing point that was carved into the rock below the plateau. You also have access to toilets, a café, a restaurant and a souvenir shop. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether it's worth it.

The North Cape Hall is open all year round and is part of the tourist infrastructure at the North Cape.
The first building on the North Cape plateau was built in 1891/1892 with the construction of a champagne pavilion.
Plans to build a restaurant on the North Cape existed from 1937.
A North Cape pavilion with a café was built and a post office was opened in 1949.
The new North Cape Hall was completed in 1959, designed by Paul Cappelen and Torbjørn Rodahl.
Later, extensive extensions to the hall were made as part of the North Cape project in 1987, 1990 and 1997.
