One of my absolute favorite routes in the area.On the approximately 10km from Oberkollwangen to Teinach station, you can easily reach an average speed of over 40km/h. The momentum from Oberkollwangen to the Schmieh junction allows you to accelerate to over 60km/h; up to Teinach, the 45km/h can be easily maintained, before the 1-2% gradient drops to a nice 35+ km/h until the train station. The surface is suitable for high speeds almost throughout, although there are a few awkwardly located rough spots up to the Katharinenhütte junction. Especially in the tight left-hand bend near the Lautenbachhof, the patches in the surface are a bit dangerous, and there may be debris on the road. The route is also very enjoyable uphill. The elevation gain builds gradually: first 2%, then the gradient is around 4% most of the way, with a few short outliers of 6-7%.There's usually hardly anything going on here, and it's completely peaceful. It's a dream come true!
