Great nature. Great asphalt. In both directions top!

Little traffic. Very good for driving uphill.

One of my absolute favorite routes in the area.

On the approximately 10km from Oberkollwangen to Teinach station, you can easily reach an average speed of over 40km/h. The momentum from Oberkollwangen to the Schmieh junction allows you to accelerate to over 60km/h; up to Teinach, the 45km/h can be easily maintained, before the 1-2% gradient drops to a nice 35+ km/h until the train station. The surface is suitable for high speeds almost throughout, although there are a few awkwardly located rough spots up to the Katharinenhütte junction. Especially in the tight left-hand bend near the Lautenbachhof, the patches in the surface are a bit dangerous, and there may be debris on the road.

The route is also very enjoyable uphill. The elevation gain builds gradually: first 2%, then the gradient is around 4% most of the way, with a few short outliers of 6-7%.

There's usually hardly anything going on here, and it's completely peaceful. It's a dream come true!
