The hike CAN be done as a round trips as seen in the map. However, to get down to the beach to do a circuit is a little dangerous as there was no real path in 2016. Also be careful with the tides as you could be trapped in high tide.

The Lopo Vaz Fajã Viewpoint is located at the top of the cliff, at the beginning of the trail that actually leads to the fajã. In addition to the fantastic view, there are tables and stools. It serves as a good stopping point.
