Site Transitoire is a symbolic way station ideated in 1993 by french artist Jean-Paul Philippe in Leonina, Italy. He imagined a window, a chair and a desk as a representation of the three fundamental positions that distinguish human existence. The stones of this sculpture outline in space a house with no walls whose ceiling is simply the sky. Creating an enduring and temporary work at the same time, this installation is inserted in an eternal dialogue with nature.
