The wooden cross lies in the saddle between the Blomberg (1,248 meters) and the Heiglkopf (1,218 meters). From up here you have a fantastic view over the Tölzer Land. Reason enough to take a short break and let your eyes wander.

The Blombergkreuz stands in a prominent place with a view down to Bad Tölz and Wackersberg, but not on the highest crest.

Nice view of the valley from the Blombergkreuz. However, the cross is not a summit cross and is located near the Heiglkopf. The summit of the Blomberg is far away and is in the middle of the forest in the direction of Zwiesel.
