Perhaps the widest cycle path in the Netherlands ... or the world? The runway of the old Soesterberg airbase is open to cyclists. Soesterberg Air Base Park is a large green area in the center of the Netherlands. It is located in the municipality of Soest between Utrecht and Amersfoort and was an active air base until 2008. Today it is an area for culture and recreation, and is home to the National Military Museum.
