There are various legends and legends about the Black Moor that have survived to this day: "The sunken village in the Black Moor" (Unheard of times, a beautiful town or, as others want to know, a large village sank into the Black Moor , because the inhabitants did not want to let go of their sinful life), "The Rhönmoore" (It is said about the origin of the Rhönmoore that the devil led water veins from the sea through the subterranean cliffs into the Rhön mountains, whereby the plateaus of the Rhön in Bogs were changed) and "Seabirds" (it is said that a bird sings in the black moor on mild summer nights, a strange song to disappear every time the aveglock sounds from the depths of the swamp at dawn). These display boards are also about bog bodies.
