This gravel road is a beautiful connection to Breinig, especially if you're coming from the Vennbahnweg via the Itertal Viaduct. For long stretches, it runs alongside the old Wahlheim-Stolberg railway line, which runs over the Falkenbach Viaduct.
Unfortunately, the gravel is also very uneven and loose in places, making the ride on a touring bike significantly more strenuous than on asphalt. But gravel bikers will certainly enjoy it.
