    Update March 2021:
    -all trees are gone
-The jump over the tree trunk is gone
PS: it would be really cool if someone could build a jump (unfortunately I can't do that)

Flowig, but also a bit mushy. take care of hikers / walkers.

Really nice flowtrail, is really fun when it should be fast, and not too technical! also for beginners very good mobile

Not April Fools: we cleared the two trees here 1 Apr 2020, built a small jump on the first one but also made it possible to roll, and even ride over when going up the hill.

Fast and winding downhill passage - basic technique sufficient

The first half is great. In the second half hindrances have occurred due to tree felling. As of 30.04.2018. Otherwise, one of the coolest and longest trails around Stuttgart, where beginners can drive well.

As of July 3rd: After a storm there is a huge tree in the lower third. You have to carry it alone, very difficult.

    Almost a small flowtrail.

After winter, shortly after the old jump over the tree, there are again several thick branches / trunks across. A few meters further a trunk across the trail. According to the tracks, some people have already got stuck with the chainring.

I've also driven the Philosophers' Way a few times. However, I do not like publishing this here, because it will certainly make it much more frequented by bikers and thus further fuel the conflicts between hikers and bikers.
Thank you in advance for the shitstorm that will break through me now.

Hey Rob, thanks for your efforts. you did well. A new little highlight for me on the Philosophers Trail! And it doesn't just look half-hearted, it also looks neat!

Nice flowing trail. Good length. At the end a nice jump over the trees lying across. If you keep to the right you can just roll over it.
You need some ground clearance further to the left, since the kicker has now dissolved or something has been destroyed.

The jump over the tree in the first third was unfortunately removed. As of December 20, 2020

The trail is blocked by a fallen tree.

My personal favorite trail - not steep but with a lot of flow - and of a decent length ...

    Update September 2021:
The trail was completely mowed, including the bushes on the left and right. You can now see clearly further into the curves. This means that all trail users see each other much earlier. The last third is still incredibly swampy and rough, both by hikers and bikes. I don't think this will ever dry up this year.
