The church in Otyń was built in the first half of the 14th century. A new church was built on its foundations in 1587. Nearly 90 years later, a tower was added to it. The building, like the entire city, burned down in 1702. The body was rebuilt two years later, and the tower in 1781. This church has survived to this day. In 2012, part of the tower collapsed. It was rebuilt in 2014.
