Limestone cavities on the rocks along the sides of the canal. A tip: if you want to travel along the Aiedda canal, it is better to do it along the left bank, that is, the one on the Paolo VI side because the path on the Taranto side has many impassable areas due to the vegetation being too tall and thick.
