Kiepenkerl Statue Borgholzhausen

The figure of the Kiepenkerl (opposite Cafe Schulze) represents the honey cake baking tradition in Borgholzhausen. But it is also well known due to traditional events such as the potato market and the Christmas market. A real attraction for all visitors and residents (I'll skip the gender thing). One of the sights of Borgholzhausen is the Kiepenkerl. A model of a traveling merchant sits at the Uphof, directly opposite the Schulze Ladencafé and the Heimathaus. He wrote numerous stories about Borgholzhausen on his travels. If only he could say it!
