It is the classic climb to Alto del Acebo from Cangas del Narcea along the road that runs through the villages of Robledo, Borracán and Vegalapieda.
It is a narrow and rough road, with panoramic views from almost the beginning of the port. There are areas of very hard sections, especially when passing through Robledo and the last ramp before reaching the top. Sometimes the wind hits you in the last 3km from Vegalapiedra.
