    Hiking

From 1947 to 1965, the Levin family lived here, breeding sheep and goats. Their livelihood was the spring, a few metres from the farmhouse. However, as it often dried up before the rainy season began, the place was given the name Twyfelfontein - dubious spring. In 1965, the homeland for the Damara people was established here and all non-Damaras, including the Levin family, had to leave the area.
