In 1928, where the St. George ski jump stands today, there was a natural ski jump. The current ski jump was built in 1959 using reinforced concrete. The tower is 22m high. In 2000, it was converted and reconstructed as a year-round ski jump (mat-covered ski jump).
Now it is used primarily by the Winterberg Ski Club for junior sports. Definitely worth seeing.

The striking construction of the ski jump can be seen from a distance.
