The Old Perithia lying on the north slope of Mount Pantokrator once used to be the capital of the Kassiópi region. Today there are a few families running charming little pubs with an amazing view on the village hiding under the mountain. All you need to do is sit down and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The Old Perthia was not destroyed by any natural disaster; the locals have simply moved to the coast for work.
