The church was built in the 14th century, or, according to some sources, at the end of the 13th century. The oldest mention of it comes from 1376. In 1521, the tower was raised and a chapel was added. During the next reconstruction, carried out in the 18th century, the windows were changed. After World War II, the church was not used for a long time. Renovations were carried out in the years 1989-1993. Since then, it has once again served a sacral function.
