this is a fairly difficult mule track, I admit, I recommend if you are not good at it to do it on foot. The path starts at the Savignoni fountain (which is almost never clean water) quite calm, on a slight slope, but then descends very quickly. It is not exposed, but it is steep and with some tight curves. It does not last long and is the only way to get to Airole
