"The Mittenberg (Strední vrch) is 593 meters high and is nicknamed the 'Matterhorn of the Lusatian Mountains' but is also popularly known as the Kantiger (Hranắc) or Fels (Skala). It is located about 1 km from Nieder-Preschkau (Dolni Prysk). On the summit there are steep walls made of basalt columns. The summit is difficult to access, however, only via a steep path in a scree field. Rare species of moss and ferns used to grow in these scree fields. From this rocky summit you have a very beautiful view of the Bohemian Central Uplands, the Lusatian Mountains and the Elbe Sandstone Mountains." (Source: plaque on the Goldberg)
