The ruin of Velika dates back to the Middle Ages and served as a surveillance and defense system at the time. Due to Romanesque architectural elements in the fortress walls, its construction date can be traced back to the 13th century.

On the mountain top there is a beautiful ruin. Because of the trees the view is not great, for a nice view you have to go further up the mountain.
