Hiking

Constructed during the Middle Ages, Stari grad Velika is an enchanting castle ruin. Built 1,483 feet (452 m) up on the southern ridge of Lapjak, it commands an excellent strategic position above its surroundings. During the Ottoman wars, it played a crucial role in the region's defence but has fallen into disuse since the late 18th century.
