We stayed with 3 people in the Rittnerhorn shelter on September 11th, 2020. It was beautiful, very friendly hut operators, food was very good, also great breakfast. Despite Corona we felt very comfortable! Experienced a great sunset and sunrise. Also hiking alone on the mountain was great.

From the Rittner Horn you can enjoy the view of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage of the Dolomites, which stretch in a curve from the southeast to the south, with the peaks of the Peitlerkofel on the Geisslerspitzen to Schlern, on the rose garden to Latemar to the black and white horn. To the north, the expanses of the Sarntal Alps open up, and behind them the Stubai Alps peek out. On the many clear days you can make out the Ortler from the Rittner Horn and in the east you can see all the way to the Großglockner.
