The spring is a source of ferric mineral water, which is documented as early as 1669 as a natural acid.

Těšíkovská kyselka is a sought-after natural spring for residents of the wide surrounding region. In addition to the medicinal value of the water, this mineral water is also popular for its taste properties and is widely used as table water by the citizens of Šternbersk, Bruntálsk, Rýmařovsk and Olomouc. The spring is equipped with a gazebo. Těšíkovská kyselka is also marked as an important destination of the R8 regional cycle route leading from Prostejov through Olomouc to the Bruntál district.
