The newly asphalted road towards Bad Herrenalb is not too steep, not too busy and offers beautiful views over Loffenau towards Merkur, Battert and the Rhine plain. After two bends you can take the side road towards Teufelsmühle and drive quite comfortably to Herrenalb via Risswasen and Plotzsägmühle.

Road cycling

A lovely spot, a little off the main road. To get there, you have to climb steeply up a very poor surface that turns into gravel, but the detour is definitely worth it. It's particularly lovely at sunset!
