    Tips

    March 30, 2019

In any case, you should take a swimming trunks when you come to Landmannalaugar. A little tip: rather for the later evening a bath plan. During the day it is overcrowded. You can pass the time with a highly recommended excursion to the gorge Graenagil. Beautiful. Then a bath in the hot spring is all the more beautiful. And in the late summer a special treat, as the sun hardly sets. Hach yes I have to go. To Iceland ... 😅

It's all so incredibly beautiful in Iceland. And yes, it's best to lie down in this hot spring when the tour buses are gone. Unfortunately, I was there with one of the said buses😂 but first we did a tour through the mountains and then, at 7 ° C outside temperature, we were rewarded with the water that was up to 45 ° C. Really fascinating. You sit there in boiling water, which is cooled down by an ice-cold stream that flows in. The further you get away from the inlet of the stream, the hotter it gets. Splendid. And it bubbles up from below. People are changing their clothes on the small platform a few meters away. Nothing is with cabins. Everything public. You should be prepared for it anyway if you plan to travel to Iceland. In the swimming pool you take a naked shower. But don't worry, they are used to it, nobody will look away from you
