The Thionville train station was built in 1905 during the German Empire and is architecturally reminiscent of Wilhelminian train stations – with a tall clock tower, sandstone facade, and steep roofs. Today, it connects **France, Luxembourg, Germany, and Belgium** – a true crossroads in the border region.
🚄 Regular trains depart from here to Metz, Luxembourg, Trier, and Paris (TGV). Cyclists and hikers also like to use it as a starting or ending point for tours along the Moselle.
