It is the first church built and decorated by the famous Asam brothers, Cosmas Damian and Giles Quirian. Even today, its architecture and frescoes impress visitors. The church is most beautiful in the early morning hours when the sun shines through the three rear windows, bathing the interior in radiant and warm light.
