This great mausoleum and museum commemorates fallen soldiers during the battle of Cer in 1914 WWI. Tactics that general Stepa Stepanović used to win this battle are still studied on army academies around the world.

Price was high, 3500 fallen were buried under the mausoleum.

In WWI Serbia lost 60% of all male population. Proportionally to the country size, the highest number of casualties of all allies.

Visiting this site and learning of great sacrifice that they did for us could change your prospective on today's world situation.
