I'm surprised that the Italians haven't given this climb a special name yet. The climb is truly one of the steepest climbs for cyclists (in some cases up to 37%), comparable to "La Stenteria" ("The Strenuous One"), the climb up the Passo della Forcella, which is only three passes to the east. The ground is initially like the previous climbs and as the gradient increases it becomes typical Italian concrete with gutters, which is manageable with an e-bike. My name for the saddle climb is: "La Difficile Salita".
