Teufelskeller Nature Reserve

Forest reserve that has not really been managed since the December storm Lothar. Only the most important paths are cleared and dangers removed. Otherwise the forest is left to itself. Between the strange conglomerate formations there are some very deep holes, but also open areas with places to sit. An adventure area par excellence. It is quite shady and cool here all year round, which is wonderfully pleasant in summer. In winter the snow stays a little longer than in other regions of the forest.

What I particularly like about this natural forest reserve: For once you don't have to follow predefined paths, you can find your way back anyway - through the thicket, along bushes and trees and lots and lots of wilderness!
