The 1,000 square metre (3,300 sq ft) Nisga'a Museum in Laxgalts'ap is home to an ancestral collection of the Nisga'a people. You can admire the large collection of carved masks, headdresses, soul catchers as well as many other artefacts. The Nisga'a Museum is also known as ‘Hli Goothl Wilp-Adokshl Nisga'a’, which means ‘The Heart of the Nisga'a House Crests’. The name honours the importance of the tribes and the tribal crests of the Nisga'a. Further information can be found on the website nisgaamuseum.ca.
