    The Catholic Church of St. Nicholas in Weiher was built in 1871. Part of the previous building is still preserved and was integrated into the newer church as the "Old Choir" with an altar. This previous building dates from 1440 to 1529 (stone dated 1518 preserved inside the church). The "Old Choir" has a late Gothic cross-ribbed vault. The keystones are remarkable. One shows the raven of Bishop Raban von Helmstatt, who began the construction of the old church, the other keystone shows the coat of arms of Bishop Georg, Count Palatine of the Rhine. Both were prince-bishops in Speyer.
    The tower of the new church is visible from afar and has a stone spire with a stone cross.
