The bronze sculpture of the "Beggar Woman" refers to a legend from 1706 about an orphan girl. The exact story won't be revealed here, but rather is a reward for the visit 😉. Nearby are the gate tower (built in 1340) and the Altweilnau castle ruins (around 1200), which are also worth a visit.
