The 'tunnel' is called the Erleloch. It is lined with bricks and connects the Erletal with the Riedbachtal. The Erleloch is always exciting for children because it is curved so that you cannot see any light at the other exit. (In the past, the Erleloch served as a better drinking water supply for the city of Endingen).
