It looks like it was from the time when humans hadn't changed anything, a bit like a "primeval forest": everything is overgrown with trees, bushes and plants. The river offers clean water. It reminds me, for example, of the Wutach Gorge in the Black Forest. Beautiful!!!
But it's not just this section of the Mangfall that is recommended: both the upper reaches from Tegernsee to Valley and the downstream part from Grub via Bad Aibling to the mouth of the Inn in Rosenheim are varied and easy to cycle on.
