La Drova belongs to the Valencian municipality of Barx, it is a residential area with a grid-like urban layout attached to the large valley formed by the Barx valley between the mountain ranges of Marxuquera and Mondúver. At the starting point there is a fountain and a convenient parking space, it is a strategic meeting point for hiking and mountain biking routes at the passage of an ancient medieval road and a notable commercial, agricultural and livestock route for centuries. The route layout leaves the recreational area and follows the path of the ravine towards the town of Barx.
