The church has a richly decorated tympanum (decorative surface above the entrance). Its half-relief sculptures represent the Ascension of Christ or his return. In the middle of the upper register, Christ holding the book with the seven seals is framed by two angels surrounded by two other crouching angels. In the lower register, the Virgin is surrounded by eleven apostles. The depiction is strongly inspired by the tympanum of the Saint-Étienne Cathedral in Cahors.
