Dukla received city rights in 1380.
During this period of history, neighboring cities also received city rights: Rzeszów in 1354, Jasło in 1365, Krosno in 1367, Rymanów in 1376, Brzozów in 1413. The monument has a modern character. Below the obelisk, a pond with different water levels and overflows was divided into sectors. It is a pity that the creator of the monument did not foresee the dirt left by the water below the overflow holes to the lower reservoir. It was enough to provide the holes with pipes bent downwards, so that the water flowing through them would not leave dirty streaks on the concrete. WW
