A pleasant meadow path with trees for shade between Schelklingen and the former Urspring monastery! The path leads along the slope just below the edge of the forest.
While philosophizing, you can let your gaze wander into the valley and over one of the most beautiful mountains in the Alb, the Lützelberg. It was surrounded by the ancient Danube.

The start or entry point to the Philosopher's Path from Schelklingen is at the edge of the town on the K 7329 or from the Hohenschelklingen ruins via the L 240, in the direction of Schelklingen at the former Urspring monastery.

The karst springs of Urspring (Urspringtopf on the site of the former monastery) and Ach (Achtopf at the former Dreikönigsmühle) as well as a 20-stop historical town tour of Schelklingen are worth seeing.
If you want to stay in the town for a little longer and travel, for example, by car, you can park at the 🅿️Hohle Fels (Auf dem Hauchen) and visit this Ice Age site (for a fee) in the UNESCO World Heritage Site “Caves and Ice Age Art of the Swabian Alb”.
