While philosophizing, you can let your gaze wander into the valley and over one of the most beautiful mountains in the Alb, the Lützelberg. It was surrounded by the ancient Danube.
The start or entry point to the Philosopher's Path from Schelklingen is at the edge of the town on the K 7329 or from the Hohenschelklingen ruins via the L 240, in the direction of Schelklingen at the former Urspring monastery.
