The Catholic Church of St. Anna is still in the center of town and was built in this form in 1955. It can be visited and has modern but very beautiful furnishings. The church replaced the Chapel of St. Anna, which was destroyed in World War II. This in turn was located on the site of the historic Mudzborgh. Not only was it the center of Misburg in name, but with its chapel and castle on the edge of a moor it also served as a refuge for the citizens.
