“per aspera ad astra” comes from Latin:
"Through the rough to the stars" More precisely, it expresses that one reaches the shining stars via rough paths and thus often requires a lot of effort to be successful. The phrase originally comes from Seneca's tragedy "Hercules furens", Hercules gone wild. In the tragedy it is formulated as follows: "Non est ad astra mollis e terris via". Translated, this saying means: "There is no easy way from the earth to the stars".

Unfortunately, this memorial stone is overlooked far too quickly on tours along the Körnebach. Unfortunately, the inscription is also fading more and more
