Billdal Church was completed in 1992. Like a red beacon, it raises its high tower next to Billdalsviken. Magnus Wångblad, architect at Arkitekttriangeln in Trollhättan, was responsible for both the interior and exterior. He was inspired by the buildings along Säröbanan, which is why the church has features of national romanticism - high stone plinths, tarred or pale red wooden facades, steep tiled roofs and glazed verandas.
