Sourroque is a very pretty "small" massif above Saint-Girons, renowned for its beautiful cliffs and its many chasms. Some say that hadas still live there, these small Pyrenean fairies, dressed in white, who live near the many caves in the area, with a preference for caves near a watercourse, where they are used to washing their clothes... I have not met any and I would not want to disturb them, I have encroached on their world, as I do when I come across a deer, a fox, a wild boar... The massif, very close to Saint-Girons, is popular with hikers and trail runners but remains very wild because cycling or trail running is demanding and the terrain is steep.
