The EXPERIENCE WAGON was formerly a local train carriage of Deutsche Bahn. It stands on the only section of the Spessartrampe that remains. The municipality of Laufach bought the carriage and had it pulled through the Schwarzkopf tunnel to its current location on June 15, 2017. This was the last train ride before the tracks on the former Spessartrampe were dismantled.

Mountain biking
A shorter route with only a slightly reduced gradient (21 instead of 21.7 per thousand) has been gradually put into operation since June 19, 2017.
From June 15 to 19, 2017, the new Spessartrampe was linked to the existing network as part of a total closure and the new Heigenbrücken stop was put into operation.
