The best preserved is the 28m high "Spitze Turm" on the outskirts of Pflaumheim, first mentioned in 1551. Its ability to defend itself is documented by loopholes and battlements. The tower also served as a prison. At a height of 20m, the top of the tower has a wreath that can be climbed today and offers a good panoramic view. (Opening hours by appointment)
